PRESS: Russian antitrust may cut govt stake on competitive markets
MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has proposed to prohibit the government from buying direct or indirect stakes in companies operating on competitive markets, Kommersant business daily reported Tuesday citing sources.
The proposed measure is not expected to affect companies that “have strategic importance for defense and security,” the daily said.
